Architectural Designer

I am an architectural designer with a deep interest in how spatial environments influence human experience. With a foundational education from UCLA and professional experience spanning several prominent firms, I have developed a robust skill set in design research, 3D visualization, and technical execution.

Most recently, I worked as a Designer 1 at Q Arch Design in San Francisco, leading schematic design, code-compliant permit sets, and firm-wide digital tooling for residential and mixed-use projects. Earlier roles at Ehrlich Yanai Rhee Chaney Architects (EYRC) and Architect Hafeez Contractor gave me hands-on experience across BIM production, advanced rendering, and construction documentation for large-scale commercial, residential, and institutional work. I have logged over 1,550 AXP hours toward NCARB licensure.

Currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area, I am passionate about tackling multidisciplinary design challenges and exploring the intersection of architecture, urbanism, and sustainability.

Experience

Designer 1

Q Arch Design

Mar. 2026 – Aug. 2026

  • Conducted Programming & Analysis research across projects including 227 Roosevelt Way, 295 14th, and 2241 Jackson St β€” as-built documentation, Matterport and Polycam scan-to-CAD verification, Sanborn map research, and feasibility studies informing code-compliance and due-diligence decisions ahead of design.
  • Led schematic design and SketchUp/Enscape 3D modeling for residential and mixed-use projects (rear deck/ADU and 3rd-floor addition with roof dormer expansion, and Judah), incorporating AI-assisted rendering workflows for aerial perspectives, shadow studies, and client presentation boards.
  • Assembled and revised code-compliant Building Permit Sets for 9+ projects β€” Reflected Ceiling Plans, window/door schedules, Title 24 energy applications, fire-rated wall and stair construction details, Sidewalk Improvement Permits, and written responses to Plan Check Comments for DBI submittal.
  • Directed digital asset modernization for firm PR initiatives, building a custom internal material library application (UI design, mobile view modes, media storage) and piloting AI-rendering workflows firm-wide; conducted Maher Ordinance research and easement agreement modifications to resolve zoning and legal constraints.

Volunteer β€” Architecture and Urban Design

UCLA Arts, UCLA

Dec. 2025 – Feb. 2026

  • Contributed to academic, research-based architecture and urban design projects under faculty supervision, including design-related research, fabrication lab work, and prototyping in support of design exploration.

Architectural Intern

Ehrlich Yanai Rhee Chaney Architects (EYRC)

Jul. 2025 – Nov. 2025

  • Contributed to schematic design, 3D modeling, rendering, and RFP materials for Washington Palms, a 57,200 SF, 8-story, 67-unit mixed-use residential and artist-loft development in Culver City, CA; built a laser-cut, CNC-milled, and 3D-printed physical presentation model.
  • Developed massing studies for a mixed-use residential redevelopment in Avon, CO, testing schemes from 4 to 7 stories with varying unit mixes using Rhino and Revit.
  • Prepared BIM-based architectural drawings (plans, sections, elevations, door and threshold details) supporting construction document production in Revit.
  • Supported RFPs and marketing materials using the Adobe Creative Suite, consistently meeting deadlines.

Architectural Intern

Architect Hafeez Contractor

Jun. 2023 – Nov. 2023

  • Produced conceptual graphics, sections, massing studies, and renderings for Modella Mill House, a mixed-use high-rise development on a 14-acre site in Thane, India, comprising a 40-story residential tower over 9 podium levels plus 30-story office and 10-story hotel components.
  • Supported design development, spatial planning, faΓ§ade studies, and technical drafting using AutoCAD and Revit, with attention to code-compliant and zoning-regulated design solutions.
  • Collaborated on 15+ large-scale commercial, residential, and urban redevelopment projects, including government-led slum rejuvenation initiatives addressing density and climate responsiveness.
  • Produced visualizations and presentation drawings integrating architecture and landscape using Lumion and Adobe Creative Suite.

Freelance Designer (Architecture & Interior Design)

Self-Employed

2021 – 2023

  • Led concept design, space planning, and visualization for multiple interior projects, and residential projects.
  • Designed and produced a virtual conference hall walkthrough for The Economic Times, New Delhi.
